Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai finally hit the screens on December 22, 2017. The movie was a relief for the dull 2017 at the box office. Tiger Zinda Hai is doing wonders not just at the domestic market but at the international too. Now, the film has also taken over the lifetime collections of Salman's Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

TZH has earned INR 325.71 crore on the 24th day of its release. Salman's other film Bajrangi Bhaijaan had managed to rake in a total of INR 320.34 crore in its lifetime and Tiger Zinda Hai has already surpassed that number in the fourth week.

The spy-thriller, which is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster, Ek Tha Tiger, revolves around Salman as a RAW agent, and Katrina as an ISI (Inter-services Intelligence) agent, and their deadly mission to rescue 25 nurses, who have been held hostage by ISIS, a terrorist organisation.

Fans were cheering in the theatre and were glad to see the action avatar of the actor back on the silver screen. In an interview, the Dabangg actor stated that his fans hate when he cries onscreen as he has established himself as an action star. "Whenever my fans watch my movie, they want to have a great time. With Tubelight, they were shocked. They were crying, hurt and disturbed, as they couldn't digest the fact that someone was beating their Bhai, and that I was crying. So, even though they watched it in theatres, they didn't go back again. The film lacked the repeat value that Sultan (2016) or Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) had," added the actor.
