Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh became the talk of the town ever since the film was announced. Be it Chintu Tyagi's love antics, catchy chartbusters or the millennial energy, the Mudassar Aziz directorial has been making a noise for all the right reasons. The film released in the theatres on December 5. Opening with Rs. 8.75 crore nett on its first Friday, the film is expected to do a good business thereon.

As per a report by Box Office India, the day 2 collections of Pati Patni Aur Woh further put a stamp on the prediction that the film is to do well over the coming week. The Kartik Aaryan starrer picked up well, bagging Rs. 11.50 crore nett on its first Saturday and summed up the total earnings up to 20 crore nett in two days. This marks it as Kartik Aaryan's highest opener till date. The weekend business seems to be flourishing but the real challenge for the film is to see where it stands on weekdays.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is an official remake of the 1978 film of the same name. Kartik Aaryan plays Chintu Tyagi, the confused husband wanting to break the monotony of his daily life whereas Bhumi plays his wife Vedika and Ananya as Tapasya Singh is the 'Woh' who makes him sweep off his feet. The plot of the film remains the same but comes with a millennial twist in the climax.
