Pagalpanti Box Office Collection Day 4: Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arshad Warsi starrer sees major downfall
Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arshad Warsi starrer Pagalpanti stoops down by 50% as it mints a small figure of 2.50 crore nett on its Day 4.
After witnessing a sad opening day, Pagalpanti seems to be drowning further. Despite a promising star cast with Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Ileana D'Souza and Urvashi Rautela in the lead, the film fails at the box office. The first-day collection stood at 5 crore nett followed with a disappointing earning of 6.25 crore on Day 2 and 8.25 crore on the third day. The multistarrer was expected to turn the tables in the coming week but Monday's Box Office Collection has revealed its fate.
Pagalpanti dropped down by 50% on Day 4. It minted a small figure of 2.50 crore nett, proving to be a flop. The poor results come as a shock for the makers of the Aneez Bazmee franchise, especially after ruling the ticket window with their last film Welcome released in 2007. The film stands low with a total collection of 28-29 crore nett and after seeing the drop rate, even the 40 crore mark seems like an uphill task for the Aneez Baazme comedy.
The film also stars Saurabh Shukla as Raja Sahab, Inaamulhaq as Niraj Modi, Zakir Hussain as Tulli Seth and Mukesh Tiwari as Baba Jani but even the joint presence of Anil Kapoor and the skilled supporting cast did not seem to help the film ride high in the sky of success.
