Pagalpanti Box Office Collection Day 2: John Abraham, Anil Kapoor & Arshad Warsi film fails to impress
John Abraham, Anil Kapoor & Arshad Warsi film Pagalpanti fails to catch the attention of the audience; mints a small amount of Rs. 6.25 crore on Day 2.
John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’Cruz, Kriti Kharbanda, and Urvashi Rautela's film Pagalpanti hit the screens on November 22, this Friday. Aneez Bazme's multistarrer revolves around three men in search of a good business. Sometimes, its luck that doesn't favour them and other times the two dons WiFi Bhai and Raja Sahab. The trio, along with their girlfriends does get rich, but now it's two other dons that they've upset who are looking for them like thirsty eagles.
Coming from the makers of the Welcome franchise, the film was expected to open big but alas! the multistarrer failed to impress at the ticket window. The film could merely collect Rs 5 Crore nett at the box office on Day 1 but was believed to catch pace over the weekend owing to less competition. However, Day 2 collections revealed the stunted growth of the film racking in a small figure of 6.25 crore nett, summing the total collection up to 11.25 crore.
The film boasts of an ensemble starring a bunch of talented actors such as Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Ileana D'Cruz, Kriti Kharbanda and Urvashi Rautela in the lead. Besides, the film also brings together Saurabh Shukla, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain, Mukesh Tiwari, and others, making a strong supporting cast.
The first two days did not work too well for Pagalpanti, but let's hope the coming week fetches high numbers and positive critic reviews.
