Marjaavaan Box Office Collection Day 2: Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh film mints 7 crores on its first Saturday with a total nett collection of 13.50 crores in two days.
This Friday, Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Riteish Deshmukh starrer revenge drama Marjaavaan hit the theatres entertaining the audience, giving them a high dose of action. Helmed by Milap Zaveri, it is the tragic love story of Raghu and Zoya, packed with drama and high octane action as the former seeks to avenge the death of his beloved. Riteish Deshmukh makes a notorious anti-hero, while Rakul Preet portrays a one-sided lover.
Speaking of its impact at the ticket window, Marjaavaan started off well minting 7 crore nett on the first day itself. The revenge saga's second-day earrings equaled to its opening day collection, ranging between 6.50 crore to 7 crore nett which took its total earnings to Rs 13.50 crore. The film is said to be a 70 crore budgeted venture. It is believed to boast a collection of 20 crore nett over its first-weekend post which the coming week will play the deciding factor.
Coming from the makers of Satyamev Jayate, the film reunites Ek Villain duo Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh for the second time. Sidharth depicts heroism, whereas Riteish is the evil entertainment and despite playing a mute character in the film, Tara's expressions speak to the audience.
