KGF Box Office Collection: Yash’s film continues to dominate at the ticket windows

There is no stopping the Yash starrer KGF Chapter I at the box office. The good word of mouth and good reviews are helping the movie to mint money at the box office. The film is continuing to dominate at the ticket windows. KGF’s Hindi version earned Rs 4.35 crore on the Christmas holiday, and in total, the Hindi version stands at Rs 16.45 crore at the box office. 

The film has grossed around Rs 62 crore in Karnataka, Rs 7.3 crore in Telugu states, Rs 4.5 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 2 crore in Kerala and Rs 5 crore in overseas markets. This takes the total gross collection to Rs 101.8 crore. KGF clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero and despite the tough competition, the film is doing well at the box office. KGF, which released across 2,460 screens all over the country, was made on a budget of nearly Rs 80 crore. KGF: Chapter 1 is a period drama set in the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields in the 1970s and 1980s era.
