Kedarnath Box Office Collection: Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput's film stays strong; crosses 50 crore

Sara Ali Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput's Kedarnath, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, is continuing to mint money at the box office. The film is a love story and is based on the Uttarakhand floods of 2013. Kedarnath released on December 7 and received mixed reviews from the critics and good reviews from the audience. After a 10-day run, the film has crossed the Rs 50 crore-mark and its total collection stands at Rs 54.21 crore. Despite the tough competition by Aquaman, Kedarnath is doing well at the box office. 

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures of Kedarnath. #Kedarnath crosses ₹ 50 cr... Maintains a strong grip in Weekend 2, despite reduction in screens/shows + Hollywood biggie #Aquaman... Should comfortably sail past ₹ 60 cr on weekdays... [Week 2] Fri 2.50 cr, Sat 3.93 cr, Sun 5.33 cr. Total: ₹ 54.21 cr. India biz," he tweeted. Considering it was Sara's debut, the actor didn't disappoint at all.

In an interview with, Saif said that his daughter Sara was way better than what he was. "I’m so happy for her. This was her choice all the way. She chose this and made it happen. And I thought she was brilliant. A thinking actress who is expressive and inventive in every shot. I see a fantastic future for her," added Saif. 

Now, Sara is all geared up for her second release of this year - Rohit Shetty's Simmba. She stars alongside Ranveer Singh in the film. Simmba is all set the hit the screens on December 28, 2018.
