Dhadak Box Office Collection: Ishaan Khatter-Janhvi Kapoor's movie does a steady business on its 1st Tuesday
Dhadak, starring Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles is doing good and steady business at the domestic box office. The film has crossed Rs 40 crore mark today.
Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer Dhadak hit the screens on Friday (July 20, 2018) and has been winning hearts since then. The film made the best Day 1 for newcomers by making Rs 8.50 crore.
Today, the box-office collections for Day 4 that is, Tuesday has been declared and Dhadak has made about Rs 4.75 crore at the domestic market. Here's the breakdown of Dhadak's collection in these four days -
Friday - Rs 8.50 crore approx
Saturday - Rs 10.75 crore approx
Sunday - Rs 13.75 crore approx
Monday - Rs 5.25 crore approx
Tuesday - Rs 4.75 crore approx
TOTAL - Rs 43 crore approx.
Dhadak has made a total of Rs 43 crore until now at the domestic market and is inching closer to Rs 50 crore.
Recently, Ishaan took to his Instagram Story and thanked everyone for the positive response Dhadak has been receiving. He wrote, "Thank you for the overwhelming love in these past few days. Makes me immensely happy that you're happy."
Meanwhile, Dhadak is directed by Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania helmer Shashank Khaitan and co-produced by Karan Johar under his home banner Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The romantic saga is the Hindi adaptation of the Marathi film, Sairat released in the year 2016, which is directed by Nagraj Manjule and starred Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in the lead roles.
