Box Office Report: Veere Di Wedding gets the third highest occupancy rate in 2018

Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania's movie Veere Di Wedding has hit the screens today. Both the viewers and critics are appreciating the stellar acts put up by the actors in the movie. The box office occupancy rate is out and well, it's the third highest in 2018.
According to Box Office India, it has opened to 30-35% in the morning shows. The top five openings in 2018 in terms of occupancy in morning shows are as follows:
1. Baaghi 2 - 57.5%
2. Padmaavat - 42.5%
3. Veere Di Wedding - 32.5%
4. Raazi - 30%
5. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety - 27.5%
Well, this is a big win for the team. It will be interesting to how much the film earn on its opening day. It's expected that the film can mint Rs 5-6 crore on Day 1.
"All eyes are on Veere Di Wedding as not only it is the film showing tremendous potential, but is also a game-changer in more than one ways. While Hollywood has films like Sex & the City, Hindi cinema is finally waking up to the power of our female superstars," DNA quoted a trade source as saying.
The movie is a coming-of-age story revolving around the lives of four friends who deal with the trials and tribulations regarding family acceptance, marriage and societal perceptions in the modern-day world. The girls openly talk about their sex lives and hurl abuses.
