Box Office Report: Salman Khan's Race 3 crosses the 100-crore mark
Salman Khan's film Race 3 is unstoppable at the box office. It also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala.
The Remo D’Souza directorial, Race 3, starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala is unstoppable at the box office. It has earned Rs 39.16 crore on Sunday and thus making the total to Rs 106.47 crore.
The film, despite receiving largely negative reviews from the critics has been doing record-breaking business at the box office.
In the past, Salman Khan's three films have enjoyed 100 crore weekend - Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs 102 crore), Sultan (Rs 105 crore) and Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 115 crore). Race 3 was also the biggest opener of 2018 besting Baaghi 2 (Rs 25 crore) and Padmaavat (Rs 19 crore).
Race 3 has got a benefit from the Eid Holiday. It will be interesting to see if it continues to keep a stronh hold on Monday too.
While the earlier two films from the franchise were helmed by Abbas-Mustan, the third was directed by Remo D'Souza. The movie has been jointly produced by SKF and Ramesh Taurani.
