Box Office Report: Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger Zinda Hai enters 2018 with a bang

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger Zinda Hai released on December 22 and all the trade gurus had high hopes from the film as 2017 wasn't a great year in terms of business. But with Tiger Zinda Hai, the scorecard of 2017 definitely has gone up and is looking better on the paper. 

Now, we have entered 2018 and the film is still roaring at the box office. The film has earned INR 248.52 crore in 10 days of its release. 

Here are the ten-day figures of Tiger Zinda Hai:

Day 1 - Friday (Dec 22) - INR 34.10 crore

Day 2 - Saturday (Dec 23) - INR 35.30 crore

Day 3 - Sunday (Dec 24) - INR 45.53 crore

Day 4 - Monday (Dec 25) - INR Rs 36.54 crore

Day 5 - Tuesday (Dec 26) - INR 21 .60 crore

Day 6- Wednesday (Dec 27)-  INR 17.55 crore

Day 7- Thursday (Dec 28)- INR 15.42 crore

Day 8 - Friday (Dec 29) - INR 11.56 crore

Day 9 - Saturday (Dec 30) - INR 14.92 crore

Day 10- Sunday (Dec 31 )-  INR 16 crore approx

The spy-thriller, which is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster, Ek Tha Tiger, revolves around Salman as a RAW agent, and Katrina as an ISI (Inter-services Intelligence) agent, and their deadly mission to rescue 25 nurses, who have been held hostage by ISIS, a terrorist organisation.  

Fans were cheering in the theatre and were glad to see the action avatar of the actor back on the silver screen. In an interview, the Dabangg actor stated that his fans hate when he cries onscreen as he has established himself as an action star. "Whenever my fans watch my movie, they want to have a great time. With Tubelight, they were shocked. They were crying, hurt and disturbed, as they couldn't digest the fact that someone was beating their Bhai, and that I was crying. So, even though they watched it in theatres, they didn't go back again. The film lacked the repeat value that Sultan (2016) or Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) had," added the actor.
