Box Office Report: Avengers Infinity War surpasses the 150-crore mark in India

Avengers: Infinity War is creating fireworks at the box-office and crossed the 100 crore mark in just four days. The audience has been flocking the theatres to watch the biggest MCU film to date.

Avengers Infinity War is creating fireworks at the box office and the viewers have been raving about the performances of the cast. According to a recent report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the film which opened up to an astounding figure of Rs 30 crore, has surpassed the Rs 150 crore mark by the end of its first week at the domestic box office. 

The film stands at Rs 156.08 crore at the Indian box office market. Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chris Pratt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Josh Brolin, Don Cheadle, Sebastian Stan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio del Toro, Idris Elba, Jon Favreau, William Hurt, Benedict Wong, Linda Cardellini, Danai Gurira, Leticia Wright, Florence Kasumba, Peter Dinklage, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel.

At the domestic circuit, Avengers: Infinity War has turned out to be the highest grossing opening day of 2018 beating the likes of Bollywood movies like Baaghi 2 and Padmaavat and crossed the prestigious 100 crore mark in just four days.

The fans weren’t expecting their favorite superheroes to bid a goodbye. On the unexpected ending, Anthony Russo told Variety, “I will say this: There is a real commitment on our end to the stakes. Yes, this is a fantasy world, and yes, remarkable things can happen in a fantasy world.”

Joe Russo said, “They come at an incredibly high cost. For us, there will always be stakes and the stakes have been progressing from film to film. And I think you can extrapolate that they will continue to deepen in Avengers 4.”
