Box Office Collection: Varun Dhawan's Judwaa 2 enters the 100-crore club
After Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Judwaa 2 is Varun Dhawan's second biggest hit of 2017.
It's been a fun roller-coaster ride for the makers of Judwaa 2 as the film has been doing brilliantly at the ticket windows. The latest update is that post the morning shows today, the film has made it to the 100-crore club.
The 7-day collection stood at INR 98.08 crore, but now after half the day is gone - we have the latest information that it has become the second film of Varun Dhawan in 2017 which has crossed the mark of INR 100 crore.
It has done fantastic business and the mass has really loved the film, despite the mixed reviews by the critics. Coming to the young lot of the actors, Varun has been giving a tough competition to his contemporaries. On the opening day, Judwaa 2 surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal and gained the third spot in the list of the highest openers of 2017.
"I genuinely hope I can make people laugh and smile and just enjoy. We need to learn to laugh at ourselves and not be scared of judgment. So I did this film to do that this is an Indian genre, not something influenced by the West," Varun shared a day before the release of the film.
