Bharat Box Office Collection Day 1 Predictions: Salman Khan starrer to open BIG despite India v SA WC match

While everyone's eyes are set on Eid ka Chaand, our attention is on Bharat. The Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer is all set to hit the big screen tomorrow. The movie has generated a good buzz with the help of its trailers and music. Slow Motion is topping music chart numbers while Chashni is also being loved by all. Given the buzz surrounding the movie and the release date falling on a holiday like Eid, Bharat is eyeing for a huge opening.

Trade Analyst Girish Johar told Pinkvilla that the movie could open with at Rs 35 crores box office collection on Day 1. The box office prediction is made keeping India's first World Cup match in mind. The Indian squad ventures out on the field to fight off South Africa at the ICC World Cup 2019. While there is no denying that Bharat's day 1 box office collection will be impacted by the match, Girish says that the movie will head off on a good start.

"I am expecting around Rs 35 crore (opening day box office collection). The film is releasing in about 4000 screens across the country. The expectations are good," he said. Girish also addressed the India v South Africa match hindering the opening day box office collection of Bharat. He said, "There is a match also, depending on the content, will dent the collections to some bit." He also added that if the reviews and word of mouth is good, Bharat could register Rs 100 crore collection.
