Avengers: Endgame has completed 50 days at the box office. The Marvel movie, which brought together almost all the Avengers, shattered all opening records when it released in April. Over the course of its one and half month journey at the box office, Avengers continues to break more records. From being the Biggest Global Launch to Biggest China Opening, Avengers: Endgame has set new records. But all eyes are set on the movie to see if it would beat Avatar to become the highest grossing movie of all-time.

Over the past few days, Avengers: Endgame is heading towards dethroning the James Cameron directorial. However, it seems like it is going to take the Avengers sometime before they could beat the blue aliens at the box office. Avengers: Endgame has collected $827.81 million in the US and a minted a jaw-dropping $2.73 billion worldwide. With this collection, Avengers: Endgame stands short of $54 million to beat Avatar. Although Marvel fans are hoping that the Avengers movie does make it through and beats Avatar, the chances seem slim.

Comicbook.com reports that trade analysts are expecting the movie to beat Avatar by Labor Day. However, given the summer box office's "lukewarm start," it is to see how far Avengers: Endgame could go at the box office. It has also been revealed that Avengers: Endgame has toppled from the top 10 movies this weekend. This is the first time Avengers: Endgame been pushed out of the list. The movie is now the top 11th movie running at the box office.

Given the current scenario, several box office analysts feel that Avengers: Endgame might not beat Avatar in its first outing. If Marvel Studios decides to pull off an Avatar and rerelease the movie later during the year on a special occasion, Avengers: Endgame could beat Avatar. As of now, the Russo Brothers directed Marvel movie is the second highest grosser at the US, overseas box office and worldwide box office. In India, Avengers: Endgame boasts a collection of Rs 370 crore plus approx.
