Aladdin Box Office Collection Day 3: Will Smith's Genie grants Disney's live action movie with riches in India

Once upon a time, there was a street thief named Aladdin who had a magical lamp. Out came a Genie and Aladdin turned into a Prince and won over his Princess. We've heard this story several times. We've also watched it play on the big screen. But audiences are not bored with it. Hence, when Disney released the Aladdin live-action movie on May 24. The movie stars Mena Massoud, Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari and Navid Negahban in the lead. Audiences stepped out to watch the tale of a boy, a magical lamp and a Genie within. As a result, Aladdin collected an impressive first-weekend collection in India.
The Guy Ritchie directorial witnessed an impressive growth through its opening weekend in India. As per Box Office India, the Disney live-action movie collected an impressive Rs 7.50 crore in India on Sunday. With the Day 3 collection, Aladdin ended its first weekend at the box office with a collection of Rs 17.85 crore.
Aladdin, which had mixed reviews from critics, opened at the box office with a collection of Rs 4.15 crore. It went on to witness a 50 percent growth on Saturday. Aladdin boasted a Day 2 collection of Rs 6.25 crore on Saturday.
BOI reports that the movie had a stronghold in the South with Nizam / Andhra, Mysore / Karnataka and Taimil Nadu. These states helped the movie project great box office collection numbers.
Aladdin beat the Bollywood movies released with it. The movie clashes with Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi and Arjun Kapoor's India's Most Wanted aka IMW. Aladdin beat the two Bollywood movies at the box office. PM Modi earned Rs 9.60 crore through its opening weekend. Whereas IMW earned Rs 7.35 crore.
On the worldwide front, Aladdin earned more than $207 million worldwide, as per Box Office Mojo.
