While a slew of exciting films have been lined up for coming months, audiences will be spoiled for choice on August 15 as three big budget films are expected to clash at the box office.

The year 2019 has seen a host of films surprising the audiences whereas some others massively tanking at the box office despite a top notch star cast. The second half of the year seems to have already begun on a bright note with Kabir Singh and Article 15 faring well at the box office. While a slew of exciting films have been lined up for the coming months, audiences will be spoiled for choice on August 15 as three big budget films are expected to clash at the box office. 

As per reports, it will be a three-way battle on Independence Day which also happens to be the auspicious day of Raksha Bandhan. The three films that will make its way to the big screen are Mission Mangal, Batla House and Saaho. With Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Saaho' and Akshay Kumar's 'Mission Mangal' creating buzz and John Abraham's 'Batla House' inspired by a real encounter intriguing fans, it seems that the battle between the trio would be an intense one. 

While Batla House and Mission Mangal are based on true stories, Saaho falls under the action drama category and will see Sharddha and Prabhas come together on the screen for the first time.

Mission Mangal has a solid star cast with strong female leads including Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Nithya Menon. It is based on an incredible true story of India's mission to Mars.

Batla House will see John Abraham in his element and the film is inspired by the real 'Batla House' encounter that took place almost a decade ago which is officially known as Operation Batla House.
