Salman Khan's Tubelight has been in news ever since it has been announced for all the right reasons. From the story's simple-and-yet-relatable plotline to the songs which have been creating a buzz, everything about Tubelight is making the fans even more curious and they have been waiting for the film to hit the screens.

Now, Tubelight has got around 10000 screens worldwide and going by the number and Salman's popularity, we can imagine that the film will do wonders at the box office. Tubelight, directed by Kabir Khan, is set during the 1962 war between India and China. Salman features in the movie with brother Sohail. Apart from Salman and Sohail, the film also stars Zhu Zhu and Matin Rey Tangu in the lead roles.

Interestingly, SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 which created a history in Indian cinema got around 9000 screens worldwide. With the benefit of 1000 more screens, can it be expected that Tubelight will chase the record and break it? That time will only tell!

Currently, Tubelight is also in news for the matter of its release in Pakistan. Amar Butala, COO Salman Khan Films, while commenting on this said, "Salman Khan Films is committed to taking Tubelight to markets across the globe with our overseas distributors Yash Raj Films. Salman has a huge following in Pakistan, which has only grown with the positive messaging on Bajrangi Bhaijaan. We hope to release Tubelight  in Pakistan as well, and our efforts continue in that direction, but we respect the law of the land and judiciary if they decide otherwise."

Let's wait and watch!
