Baahubali 2 enters the 1500-crore club
Baahubali 2 has collected INR 1500 crore at the box office worldwide.
It's been three weeks that SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 has hit the theatres and since then, the film has been in headlines for it's box office numbers. And why not? The film has broken all set records from Aamir Khan's Dangal to Salman Khan's Sultan. Baahubali 2 is unstoppable as it's still minting money at a steady place.
Baahubali 2 has finally grossed over INR 1500 crore at the worldwide box office. The film features Prabhas who played the titular role, Rana Daggubati as Bhallala Deva, Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Ramya Krishnan as Sivagami, Sathyaraj as Kattappa and Tamannaah Bhatia as Avanthika.
The film's Hindi dubbed version has created a history as it has earned more than INR 450 crore at the domestic box office. Karan Johar tweeted, "The HINDI version of #BaahubaliTheConclusion marches past the 450 crore mark! The worldwide MANIA continues!!!! #Baahubali1500cr."
Talking about the success, in an earlier interview, producer Shobu Yarlagadda said, "We knew the film will be a success, but the speed and rate of its achievement has taken us by surprise. It's a combination of a good story and emotions rooted in Indian storytelling, a larger-than-life canvas, great action made possible with great sets and VFX and technical values like photography, sound and music."
