Box Office Report: Baahubali 2 becomes the first Indian movie to earn 1000 crore worldwide

SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has become a rage at the box office in both the domestic and global market. The film stars Prabhas playing the titular role and Rana Daggubati as Bhallala Deva, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishna, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia in principal roles. Prabhas - Anushka starrer collected INR 125 crore at the box office on Day One. Baahubali: The Conclusion proved to be the highest first day grosser in the history of domestic box-office.

Going by the latest figures, the film has minted INR 800 crore at the Indian box office and INR 200 crore at the overseas market. With this, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has become the first Indian movie to earn INR 1000 crore worldwide. 

Post the roaring success, the remuneration received by Baahubali 2 stars is something that would make you rub your eyes in disbelief. The lead star of the movie was paid an amount of INR 25 crore for the film. Rana earned INR 15 crore for his role. Tamannaah Bhatia who played the role of Avantika got paid INR 5 crore. Anushka Shetty: was seen in the role of Amarendra Bahubali’s wife Devsena was also paid INR 5 crore. Sathyaraj aka Katappa was given INR 2 crore. Ramya Krishna got INR 2.5 crore for her role in Sivagami Devi.

S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released on April 28, this year. And finally, the viewers have the answer of the question - Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?
