Box Office Report: Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi) continues to impress on Day 2
Here's the box office collection of Baahubali 2 (Hindi) on Day 2.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has finally hit the screens worldwide and is breaking all the possible records at the Indian cinema.
Karan Johar went on to tweet about day 1 collection stating, "GRAND INDIA TOTAL OF 121 crores NET!!!!! HINDI IS 41 crores!!! TAMIL + TELUGU + MALAYALAM = 80 crores!!!! HISTORY HAS BEEN CREATED!!!!!!"
Now the second-day collections of the Hindi version are out. The magnum opus minted about INR 40 crore nett on day two. The film collected around INR 40.75 crore on the opening day and there's no drop at all like it's usually seen. There are limited shows of the Hindi version down South as the film is released majorly in all South Indian languages.
So, the total collections of Friday and Saturday are INR 80.75 crore approx. It looks like the Hindi version of the film will cross the coveted 100-crore mark at the box-office on Sunday.
According to the initial reports, the movie enjoyed a whopping 95% occupancy in the morning shows with some places recording 100% occupancy on Day 1.
According to a leading trade website, the mammoth film has seen a drop in collections in its South Indian language versions especially the Telugu one.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2 stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. The movie is the second part of the film Baahubali: The Beginning.
