Naam Shabana Box Office Report: Taapsee Pannu-Akshay Kumar's film rakes in decent numbers on Day 2
Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar's film Naam Shabana has shown a growth on Day 2 and the positive word-of-mouth will help the movie do better at the box office.
Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar's film Naam Shabana has finally hit the theatres. Both the critics and reviewers have poured in praises for Taapsee's stellar performance. Naam Shabana has raked in decent numbers in two days of its release.
According to a trade side, the film has earned INR 6 crore on Day 2 and in total has minted INR 10.75 crore at the ticket windows. Going by the production numbers, Naam Shabana has collected INR 6.37 crore on the second day and in total has raked in INR 11.49 crore.
The film has shown a growth on Day 2 and the positive word-of-mouth will help the movie do better at the box office. It'll be interesting to see how much the film fare in its first weekend.
Talking about the film at the trailer launch, director Neeraj Pandey said, "Let me put it that way - it's (Naam Shabana) a spin-off and that one scene in Baby made an impact on the audience and that's how we came about making a film on the character Shabana."
Adding to this, Taapsee said, "I might be the face of the film but nothing would have been possible if Neeraj wouldn't have got actors like Akshay, Anupam, Danny and Prithviraj on board. I'm glad that a star like Akshay is backing the film."
