Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh's Phillauri has been doing well at the box office, considering that it's a solo Anushka film. The film minted INR 15.75 crore at the box office in four days of its release. However, On Monday, Phillauri only managed to earn INR 1.75 crore at the ticket windows.

The film is about Kanan (Suraj Sharma) coming to India to marry his childhood love. But, as fate had it, he turned out to be a maanglik and had to get married to a tree and in that, Shashi aka Anushka resided. The whole story revolves how Kanan helps Shashi meet her lover (Diljit) and finally gets her free from all the boundations.

In an interview with us, Anushka opened up on her expectations. She had said, "The best, obviously. Whenever you give your best in the film you always want it to be a huge success. I think it's a special film. It's a complete family entertainer and kids can watch it with their family. We are playing with different elements like ghosts, recreating a character and creating a completely fictional character and you have not seen a ghost like this ever. It's exciting to see that people are excited to see all this. We were a little nervous when the trailer came out."

The positive word-of-mouth might help the movie rake in a little more better at the box office.
