Box Office Report: Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 hits a century!
Akshay Kumar is surely on a roll these days. For his role of a lawyer in Jolly LLB 2, fans and critics have appreciated the 49-year-old actor. Now, the actor's latest release Jolly LLB 2 has finally crossed the 100-crore mark and he has all the reasons to celebrate the success.
The film has collected INR 100.37 crore in 13 days of its release. Jolly LLB 2 is a sarcastic take on the condition of the law in the country and how cases are handled. The film opened up with great numbers but then slowed down a bit. Jolly LLB 2 has become the fourth film of Akshay to enter 100-crore club after Housefull 2, Rustom and Airlift since 2016. In its truest sense, Akshay knows how to mint money at the box-office.
The film even landed into a legal trouble for the portrayal of the law system in the negative light. The film is a sequel to Arshad Warsi's Jolly LLB. Today, the two are hosting a success press conference in the city.
Akshay will next be seen in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and PadMan. Recently, his picture with Bhumi Pednekar went viral and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is a sarcastic take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi pet project Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which focuses on the issue of cleanliness of the country. Many celebs like Amitabh Bachchan have been a part of it.
