Shah Rukh Khan's Raees beats Salman Khan's Jai Ho; records the highest ever collection on the Republic Day!

Shah Rukh Khan's Raees has finally hit the screens and fans are going gaga over his performance in the film. SRK is playing the titular role in the film and surely made a mark through his portrayal of Abdul Latif.

The film opened to good numbers at the box office and is continuing its dream run by minting money. Interestingly, Raees earned INR 26 crore on January 26 and has surpassed the collections of Salman Khan's Jai Ho (2014) recording the highest ever collection on the Republic Day.

Raees has been in news for quite a while for his clash with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil and both are battling to win the box office crown.
