Box Office Report: Ok Jaanu and xXx: Return of Xander Cage fail to spread their magic on the first Monday
Clashes are the 'it' thing in Bollywood. 2017 started with one between Ok Jaanu and xXx: Return of Xander Cage. The films opened to a decent number at the ticket window and it was left to see how these two will perform on the first Monday.
Well, the verdict is out and both failed to spread their magic on Day 4 and have not passed the Monday test! Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's Ok Jaanu earned around INR 1.50 crore on Monday and in total has collected INR 13.25 crore.
On the other hand, xXx: Return of Xander Cage also ran out of steam on Day 4 and minted INR 2.50 crore. The film has grossed INR 17.75 crore in four days of its release. Going by the stellar cast and given the fact that it was Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut, higher collections were expected.
