Box Office Occupancy Report: Aamir Khan's Dangal creates fireworks at the ticket window on the opening day!
Aamir Khan's Dangal has surely created waves all over the news with the positive reviews pouring in for the film. If the box office figures are to be believed, Dangal has witnessed 55-60% occupancy rate at the ticket window. Interestingly, the film is also the second biggest opener of 2016 after Salman Khan's Sultan.
Talking about the numbers, the film has already had a pre-sales business of INR 15 crore. Dangal has been appreciated by the critics and some even went on to say that it's Aamir's best performance till date. Dangal had been making the right noise way before its release because of its subject.
The film is based on the journey of a Haryanvi wrestler, Mahavir Phogot, who couldn't achieve his dream of getting a gold medal for the country. Dangal also shows how he trains his daughters, Geeta and Babita, to be the champions of wrestling.
Ladka leke aaye ya ladki, gold toh gold hove hai... and Dangal is minting gold at the box office. It'll be more interesting to see whether it'll surpass the Sultan's opening weekend collection or not!
