Box Office Report: Shivaay witnesses a massive jump on Monday, ADHM still leads!
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay, released on October 28 opened to mixed responses from the audience. But, ADHM went on to become Karan Johar's highest opener, whereas Shivaay faced an average opening at the ticket window over the weekend.
Meanwhile, both the movies fared well on Monday and kickstarted the week's collection on a positive note. ADHM did a good business on Monday as the collections went up for about 35% as it was a holiday. Whereas, Shivaay had a jump for about 70% on Monday. This may continue today also on the occasion of Bhai Dooj which is a partial holiday across the nation.
On Monday, ADHM did a business of INR 17.75 crore approx, while Shivaay's collection was INR 15.75 crore approx. Coming to the total business, Karan Johar directorial has minted about INR 51.75 crore nett in four days. While Ajay Devgn's film collected about INR 39.95 crore nett on the first four day business of the film.
We have to wait till Wednesday as it will decide the first-week number of both the films.
