First weekend collection: Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil races ahead of Ajay Devgn's Shivaay at the box office!
2016 has been the year of clashes, be it small budget or the big budget films. And after much hype, Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn-starrer Shivaay made it to the theatres on October 28. It was said to be the biggest clash of this year and both have finally passed their first weekend with excellent numbers. But, ADHM is leading the pack.
Talking about the box office collection, ADHM has earned INR 34 crore in the domestic market in three days of its release. On the other hand, Shivaay has collected INR 24 crore in its first weekend. In spite of being released on the festive season of Diwali, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay managed to rake in good money over the 1st weekend.
ADHM, on Sunday, minted INR 8.40 crore and Shivaay earned INR 6.50 crore at the ticket windows.
