Sultan enters 300 Cr club! Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma's film continues its historic run

Salman Khan is undoubtedly the king of the box office and he has proved his mettle again. Salman's Sultan is the third film after 2015's Bajrangi Bhaijaan and 2014's PK to earn more than Rs 300 crore at the domestic box office. The film is continuing its historic run and gradually has made its way to be a part of Rs 300-crore club.

Sultan emerged as the highest opener of 2016 and also the biggest Eid grosser of all time. The film was released worldwide in 4,350 screens in India and 1,100 screens overseas. The film, starring Salman and Anushka as wrestlers, also features Randeep Hooda, Kumud Mishra and Amit Sadh in pivotal roles.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan hit the screens on July 6 this year.
