2.0 Hindi Box Office Collection Day 2: Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's film stays strong amongst the fans

Director Shankar's magnum opus 2.0 stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. The film is dominating the box office in all the languages. Even the Hindi version is doing well at the domestic market. It opened at Rs 20.25 crores at the box office. On Day 2, the film has earned Rs 18 crores. In total, the Hindi version stands at Rs 38.25 crores. The film has witnessed a slight drop but is continuing its stronghold. Those who have seen the film would agree that both the stars have done a commendable job. 

2.0 is the most expensive film ever made in India. Touted to be produced on a massive budget of almost Rs 600 crores, the film has a social message to give. It talks about how humans should strike a balance to save birds from the harmful radiations of the telecom towers. The VFX of the film was of a top-notch level. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, "#2Point0 remained strong on Day 2... Although the film has declined on Day 2, the biz should gather momentum on Day 3 [Sat] and Day 4 [Sun]… Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr. Total: ₹ 38.25 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version."

2.0 is Akshay Kumar’s first film with megastar Rajinikanth and is also his Tamil debut. Going by the trend, estimates are being made that box office collections would be high on both Saturday and Sunday.

It will be interesting to see how much the film makes in the first weekend.
