Rosé is coming in 48 hours! BLACKPINK's golden-voiced vocalist is all set to drop her much-awaited solo debut album R, this Friday. BLINKS are super excited for Rosé's new solo debut album and the pre-orders have hit the sky already! On March 9, YG Entertainment revealed that Rosé’s upcoming solo single album R had surpassed 400,000 copies in stock pre-orders as of March 8. This was achieved in only four days since pre-orders for the album began on March 4. 400,000 is the highest number of stock pre-orders achieved by a female soloist in Korea.
Now, Rosé is all set to mark an appearance on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her new album R. On March 9, reports revealed that Rosé is scheduled to perform on the March 16th episode of the late-night talk show The Tonight Starring Jimmy Fallon. BLACKPINK has previously appeared on the American talk show to promote their 2020 lead single, How You like That and participate in Jimmy Fallon's Try Not To Laugh Challenge.
Meanwhile, Rosé's first solo single album is titled R with the lead title track, On the Ground. The album also includes the all-English track, Gone which is a bitter-sweet song about love and breakup. R is slated to release on March 12, 2 pm KST.
