BLACKPINK’s Jennie recently set a new record on Spotify! On October 16, YG Entertainment officially announced via Soompi that BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s solo debut track SOLO had surpassed 240.8 million streams on Spotify, making it the most-streamed song by any Korean soloist on the platform.

The previous record for the most-streamed song by a Korean soloist was held by PSY’s 2012 smash hit Gangnam Style, which has racked up over 240.6 million streams on Spotify. SOLO already made Spotify history once earlier this year, when it became the first song by a Korean female soloist to surpass 200 million streams on the platform back in April. Congratulations to Jennie on her impressive achievement!

Apart from this Jeannie’s recent accomplishment, BLACKPINK has been receiving praise for their recently released Netflix documentary BLACKPINK: Light up the Sky. In case you missed it, last week Finn Wolfhard recently shared his love for South Korean all-girl band BLACKPINK! On October 15, the Hollywood actor—who is best known for his starring roles in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things and the recent horror film--It—took to Instagram Stories to proudly show off his autographed copy of BLACKPINK’s new album THE ALBUM.

In addition to sharing a photo of his personalized album, Finn Wolfhard also revealed how he’d be spending his upcoming Friday night: the actor posted photos of his BLACKPINK Monopoly board game and wrote, “Friday night is secure.” In his next photo, he playfully asked, “Guess where I landed again, BLACKPINK???”

In his final photo, Finn Wolfhard tagged all four BLACKPINK members and mentioned their new documentary, writing, “Congrats on your Netflix doc!!”
