Defending champions Australia won a low-scoring game against New Zealand convincingly at Lord's in the World Cup 2019. The Aussies managed 243 runs, led by Usman Khawaja's 88 and Alex Carey's 71. Trent Boult picked a hattrick, but that was not enough as the Black Caps were blown away by Mitchell Starc's four-wicket haul.
The Kiwis were all out for 157 as Australia won by 86 runs to consolidate their position at the top of the points table.
