AGUST D aka BTS’ Suga’s music video for Daechwita hits a milestone of 200 million views

For the uninitiated, BTS member Suga has a prolific solo career under the name of ‘AGUST D’ with record-breaking songs under his belt. Among such brilliant achievements, AGUST D has accomplished yet another feat by reaching the milestone of 200 million views on the iconic music video for ‘Daechwita’.

Daechwita tells the story of the struggle between Min Yoongi and Suga, his two faces or two selves, one which is echoed on his song ‘Shadow’ as well. In the end, his true self conquers the self that is driven by malicious negative emotions, self-doubt and insecurities. The music video featured fellow BTS members Jin and Jungkook is cameo roles and the overall production quality was incredible. Post 11 PM KST on March 1, 2021, the music video for Daechwita reached 200 million views on Youtube, marking this as the first song under AGUST D’s name to have reached that milestone.
