Yuvraj after serving Indian cricket for a long, long time decided to hang his boots just a couple of weeks ago. The swashbuckler had expressed his desired to play franchise-based leagues and he had requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India for the approval. After the legal procedure, Yuvraj was finally handed the nod.

The man of the tournament winner in World Cup 2011 when announcing retirement had stated in the press conference that he will continue playing cricket.

"I can play fun cricket. I will go and enjoy the cricket. Have fun there. I have had a word with BCCI and I will speak again after the announcement. Hopefully, it will be smooth sailing," He had said.

Yuvraj will be joining the Toronto Nationals in mid-July as the tournament is set to be held in Brampton from July 25 to August 11. He will be part of this star-studded side where players like Chris Gayle, Chris Lynn, Kane Williamson, etc will also be taking part.
