An 87-year old fan Charulata Patel, who made headlines in India's game against Bangaldesh for her energy and her passion, has been spotted at India's game against Sri Lanka at Leeds as well. Virat Kohli, who had met the fan after the game against Bangaldesh, promised her tickets for today's match.
Blowing trumpets and cheering "her team" on, Patel had become an internet sensation. Her love for the game forced Rohit Sharma and Kohli to walk up to her after the match last time, and thank her for her support. In return, the skipper gave her tickets to India's next game as well.
The BCCI shared a post on Twitter where Patel can be seen cheering for India with her daughter against Sri Lanka.
Twitter had only kind words to say about Kohli after his gesture.
