South Korean celebrities are known for being all-rounders. A singer is not just a singer, but also a rapper, a songwriter, a producer and a model. An actor is not just an actor but singer, dancer, producer and an entrepreneur. The flexibility of a Korean celebrity to wear different hats is pretty common. And being a YouTuber for them also, isn’t a big deal. The major plus point for this, is the fact that it helps them reach a wider audience and make the existing fandom yearn for more.

The extremely popular Itaewon Class lead actor Park Seo Joon’s YouTube account is a sight for sore eyes. Even though he has made his subscriber count private, he has crossed the 365k subscriber mark. His videos give us a whole behind the scenes look into his work life. Like, there is a whole video of the transition of Park Seo Joon to Park Saeroyi where we see him go to a salon and get the classic Park Saeroyi haircut. The best part about his channel is that his videos seem very personal - which is definitely a boon to the fans. 

YouTube channel: 이지금 [IU Official] 

Korea’s golden-voiced singer, Lee Ji Eun, aka IU, has her own YouTube channel and it’s basically a buffet for UAENAs. The Palette singer’s channel, as of writing this story, has 5.53 million subscribers - which is not that shocking. From behind-the-scenes of her album shoots and Kdramas, to some hilarious content like interviewing her brother, making various content-led videos where she is a detective, an employee, trolling her fans and so much more! It’s wholesome content at its best. 

Park Min Young

YouTube channel: 그냥, 박민영 (just, Park Min Young)

With 838k subscribers at the time of writing, the What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim’s actor Park Min Young’s YouTube channel is just nine months old and has a total of 11 videos till today. The channel is a great way to show love and inside-looks of her daily professional and personal life, as all fans received before this were some BTS from her dramas or some social media update. Her vlogs range from her taking an MBTI test, doing a ‘What’s in my bag?’ reveal like fashion YouTubers and taking fans on a tour of her office and terrace.

Apink’s Bomi

At a steady 840k subscribers list, Apink member Bomi started her channel called ‘Bom, Bom Bom’ in 2018. She has recently been uploading fun content every week and can be seen as taking her YouTube channel as seriously as her singing! She also features group members and other celebrity guests in vlogs, offering a new take on things every time. She can be seen doing mukbang, ASMR, eating challenges and even a daily vlog that shows all her activities during the day. 

Mamamoo’s Solar

If you want to see a K-Pop idol in their natural habitat (or just like us, normal people), Solar’s solarsido should be your go-to place. She has a great ton of content on her YouTube channel. Whether it’s taking on fun challenges, doing celebrity interviews, giving a hilarious take on her daily life, cutting her own hair, food recommendations and recipes, mukbang, behind the scenes on sets and awards - her content well doesn’t end up dry at all. 

Jessica Jung

Ex Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung started her YouTube channel in Jan 2020 and has uploaded some very wholesome and entertaining content. Almost looking like a lifestyle blogger’s channel, her videos range from taking her fans to the Paris Fashion Week and New, daily makeup routine vlogs, fashion tips, and more.
