Do ka Dum: Salman Khan to play double role in 'Kick 2'
After playing the good hearted Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, Salman Khan recently announced that he will be seen in a double role in ‘Kick 2’.
Salman Khan himself had come up with this idea of double role and shared it with director Sajid Nadiadwala. The actor confirmed the news and told Hindustan Times, “Work on the film’s script is on. I had only given him (Sajid) the concept, and now, he is working on the story. The movie will have a double role. Bahut zabardast idea hai (the idea is mind-blowing). When he is done with the script and the screenplay, we will take it on the floors.”
Producer Sajid, who made his directorial debut with ‘Kick’, told the daily, “It’s a great story that needs to be told. I am working on the storyline, which should be ready in two-three months. Then, we will decide on how and when to take it to the next level."
While ‘Kick’ featured Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda, the cast for ‘Kick 2’ haven’t been decided yet. Salman had earlier commented that Jacqueline won’t be a part of the sequel.
Salman Khan will be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Sultan’.
