Yami Gautam, Ileana D’Cruz and many celebs walk the ramp for Smile Foundation
Many Bollywood celebrities and top models walked the ramp for Smile Foundation Fashion Show for Champs, supporting education of underprivileged children.
Yami Gautam, Ileana D’Cruz, Lauren Gottlieb, Rajkummar Rao, Jackky Bhagnani, Sagarika Ghatge, Sachiin Joshi with wife Urvashi, Manish Paul, Isha Koppikar, Roshni Chopra, Anusha Dandekar, VJ Andy, Tara Sharma, Meiyang Chang, Rajniesh Duggal, Mukesh Chhabra, Akshay Oberoi and many others walked the ramp for this special cause. Designer Farah Sanjana extended her support to the cause by showcasing her special collections with celebrities and high profile clients. Her muses were her close friends who came forward to support her for this initiative including Ileana D’Cruz, who agreed to join the noble initiative by auctioning her outfits to raise funds which will be utilized for girl education.
Participating in the event, Ileana D'Cruz said, “Being a woman, I feel it is my responsibility to stand in support of the right of every other woman and girl child education as a cause is extremely close to my heart. I am delighted to be a part of Smile Foundation’s Ramp for Champs and I am happy that I along with Farah Sanjana, we are putting our bit towards this worthy cause .Events like these are important not only for raising resources for the noble cause but brings together many like-minded people and motivate many more to join such initiatives.”
Ramp for Champs was designed with the objective to educate children and also sensitizing the maximum number of people towards this cause. This celebrity studded fashion show is one of the many innovative initiatives that Smile has undertaken to promote the importance of education, catalyze education among underprivileged children, create the process to embrace these children into mainstream in a sustainable manner and facilitate them to emerge as productive assets.
