Rajkummar Rao approached for a role in 'Dangal'
According to the latest buzz, Rajkummar Rao has been approached by director Nitesh Tiwari for a role in his next offering 'Dangal' which stars Aamir Khan.
'Dangal' tells the story of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, a role which is being essayed by Aamir Khan, and his relationship with his two daughters, Geeta and Babita, and how he trains them to win big in international wrestling events. In fact Geeta went on to win the country's first ever gold medal in women's wrestling (55 kg freestyle category) in the 2010 Commonwealth Games while both she and her sister won bronze medals in the 2012 wrestling championship held in Canada.
According to the grapevine, Nitesh had offered Rajkummar Rao a role with Aamir who has been beefing up to play the character of Mahavir. However when the actor was contacted about the same, he refused to comment on the offer. The film is expected to go on the floor soon.
