Shiney Ahuja

Accused Of: Rape

Outcome: Victim retracted statement

Shiney Ahuja was arrested for raping his young maidservant in 2009. Like in most cases involving Bollywood celebs, Shiney was out on bail and somehow stayed out. There was also news doing the rounds that the maid later retracted her statement. A lot of confusion there. However, Shiney had to bid adieu to his Bollywood career after this incident.

Ankit Tiwari

Accused Of: Rape

Year: 2014

Outcome: Out of court settlement

Last year, the Aashiqui 2 singer, Ankit Tiwari, was jailed for raping his former girlfriend after having promised to marry her. The victim's sister filed a police case against Ankit. She also stated that even Ankit's brother had threatened her sister of dire consequences if she lodged a complaint. The Sun Raha Hai Na Tu singer had been sent to judicial custody during the time.

The case was settled after an out of court settlement was made.

Inder Kumar

Accused Of: Rape

Year: 2014

Outcome: Settlement

Last year, Inder Kumar was charged for physically abusing and torturing a 23-year old model. He was also charged for burning the girl with cigarettes and attacking her with forks and beer bottles. As per the police reports, Kumar had been found guilty and had been detained during the time.

Shakti Kapoor

Accused Of: Indecent Advances

Year: 2005

Outcome: Kapoor got away with lame excuses

Shraddha Kapoor may have brought a good name to her family. However, her dad Shakti Kapoor has stumbled on many occasions. The actor was embroiled in the biggest controversy of his life when a sting operation was conducted on him in 2005. The footage had Shakti asking the undercover reporter sexual favours in exchange for a good career in the industry. The reports took the nation by storm!

Madhur Bhandarkar

Accused Of: Rape

Year: 2004

Outcome: Police found no truth in claims

The ace filmmaker, famous for his realistic movies like Fashion and Page 3, was alleged to have raped an aspiring actress, Preeti Jain, in 2004. The girl accused Bhandarkar of making false promises to her in a chase to get intimate with her. She claimed that Madhur promised to marry her as well as give her a lead role in his film, which he never fulfilled, but continued sexually assaulting her between 1999 and 2004. However, police reports stated that Preeti's claims had no truth to them, thus Bhandarkar was acquitted.

Aditya Pancholi

Accused Of: Rape

Year: In the 90s

Outcome: Other than a break up with then girlfriend Pooja Bedi, Aditya did not lose much.

Aditya had allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend Pooja Bedi's 15-year-old maid. Pooja and Aditya were a couple that time, and Pooja broke up with him because of the allegation.

Ness Wadia

Accused Of: Molestation

Preity Zinta filed a sexual molestation complaint against her ex-boyfriend and co-owner of Kings XI Punjab Ness Wadia, last year. The complaint was lodged at Marine Drive police station in Mumbai on Thursday night.In her complaint Preity claimed that Wadia molested, abused and threatened her inside Wankhede stadium in south Mumbai on May 30, during the IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab.
Following her complaint an FIR was registered against Wadia under IPC sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).

Shiamak Davar

Accused Of: Indecent proposals

Year: 2015

Outcome: Ongoing

Shiamak Davar's dance academy students Percy Shroff, 40, and Jimmy Mistry, 33, both of North Vancouver, went on record that they endured years of unwanted sexual touching at the hands of Shiamak, who they say, abused his authority as their spiritual leader to control all aspects of their lives. However, Shiamak denied the allegations and said that he will fight to clear his name off this scandal.

Subhash Kapoor

Accused Of: Molestation

Year: 2014

Outcome: No official charges

Geetika Tyagi, a struggling actress who has worked in films such as Aatma, What The Fish and One by Two, last year accused Jolly LLB director Subhash Kapoor for molesting her and thus causing her a lot of trauma.
The matter became more interesting though, when Geetika tweeted a video link containing the scene of confrontation. In the video were seen Subhash Kapoor, his wife Dimple, Aurangzeb director Atul Sabharwal and Geetika. While Geetika was seemingly upset, Subhash's wife Dimple was empathetic and consoling. Subhash was seen agreeing to a sexual encounter but said it was not by force.

Rani's brother Raja Mukerji

Accused Of: Molestation

Year: 2012

Outcome: Fined

Rani Mukerji's brother Raja Mukherji was arrested in 2012 for allegedly abducting and molesting a script writer in his car. Raja was booked under IPC section 363 (Punishment for kidnapping) and 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty). Raja was produced before a local court, which granted him bail on a personal bond of Rs 10,000.
