Aanand L Rai clears the air about his next lead stars!
For some time now, there have been rumours of Kangana Ranaut Vs Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Vs Salman Khan for Aanand L Rai's next. Rai therefore cleared the air about this in an interview with Hindustan Times.
Confirming that no star has yet been confirmed for his next, Rai said, "I enjoy meeting actors. I was busy with one film, and now, I will work on a script and start my struggle again. I will give my 100% to reach the actors who are required for my script. I will fight for it, and I will survive. For this reason, I have to go and meet actors. And that's why I met Ranveer, Ranbir, and Salman bhai. But just because Ranveer - or any other actor - and I are meeting, it doesn't mean there is a film happening,"
He added, "At the end of the day, we are in the same profession, so we have to meet, talk and understand each other.
Film-making is not as technical as it looks. There's a lot of bonding involved. And that will happen only when you meet people".
Aanand L Rai's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' starring Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut was a great hit at the box office. Apparently, there is a beeline of stars vying for Rai's next. Who do you think will make the cut?
