Imran Abbas, Pernia Qureshi and Muzaffar Ali with Jaanisaar are all set to paint before us the 19th century. The period drama about two lovers sacrificing their lives for Indian Independence is a tale untold.
The audio jukebox is here and we are pretty sure after hearing the tracks, you will be teleported to the glorious era. Since film’s leading lady is a courtesan, the musical influence is primarily mujra-centric. The playback singers for the film are not only popular Indian singers like Shreya Ghoshal and Sukhwinder Singh, but also have notable Pakistani singers like Abida Parveen and Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan. Folk singer, Malini Awasrthi has crooned two songs too.
