Konkona’s sweet gesture for Gour Hari Das’s real life wife
Actor Konkona Sen Sharma is all set to play Mrs. Laxmi Das, wife of Gour Hari Das in upcoming film ‘Gour Hari Dastaan’. And the actor who took a lot of inspiration from Mrs. Laxmi Das gifted her a sari.
Konkona has specially purchased the sari from her hometown Kolkata. It’s a beautiful peach and white authentic Bengali sari that she personally shopped.
When asked the actress on the same she says, “I troubled Mrs. Das a lot… I literally stayed with them for over 40 days and they treated me just like their daughter. This is just a small way to thank them not only for the inspiration I got from them but the love they showered during my stay.”
'Gour Hari Dastaan' is a biopic based on the freedom fighter Gour Hari Das, where Konkona plays Mrs. Laxmi Das, wife of Gour Hari Das. Konkona spent a lot of time understanding her character for which Laxmi Das helped her in the best possible manner.
