The Eid delight for fans, Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, starring Salman Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Harshaali and Kareena in key roles, is shattering box-office records. It has surpassed previous records of Bollywood films and is en route to making its own set of benchmarks.

While its run at domestic Box Office is mind blowing, even overseas, the collection is humungous.

According to Box Office India report, on its opening weekend, BB has garnered 100.50 crore nett. The weekend breakdown is 26.50 crore nett on Friday, 35.50 crore nett on Saturday and 38.50 crore nett on Sunday. P.K’s Sunday record was 38.25 crore nett. It has registered the highest opening weekend collection to its name, beating Dhoom 3’s 97 crore figure.

On the overseas front, it has collected around 51 crores. Eros Now just tweeted, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan records phenomenal overseas weekend collection of USD 8 million (51 crore). HUGE! :)”

It is HUGE indeed! BB is running successfully in cinemas and at the same time winning hearts too. The film has zoomed past the 100 crore figure, and this EID blockbuster has many more crores to mint, given its run at the theatres presently.
