Salman Khan wants ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ to be tax free!
Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has crossed the 100 crores mark in just three days of the release. Not only is the movie doing well commercially, but it is also winning praises for its touching story line.
Ask Salman what has been his reaction to the response the film has gathered, “We make films to get appreciated. If a film earns money but isn’t appreciated for its content then it is disappointing. I would rather prefer a movie which doesn’t earn but is loved by the people. Touchwood, in this case the film is appreciated also and is making money as well.”
Interestingly, the critics have gone gaga over Salman’s performance and the film has been touted to be his career best. Probe him about it and he says, “This film is one of the best for the industry not just me. I started with these films years back - love, family and rona-dhona! This is not new for me.”
With ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ dealing on issues like love, religion and cross boundary conflicts, does the actor want the movie to be made tax free?
“It should be made tax free but we also want the Government to earn money which they should utilize in country’s well being. I want the leaders to see the movie. The heads of countries are dealing with such issues every day,” concludes Salman.
