‘The female actors should also get an equally fat cheque’ – Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan, known for her portraying some strong and powerful women-centric roles in Indian Cinema feels sad seeing the disparity in pay cheques of male and female actors.
She told Hindustan Times, “You know, I feel that there is still a lot of disparity in the pay cheques of male and female actors. If there is one thing I could change about the industry, I think it’d be this disparity. The female actors should also get an equally fat cheque.”
Vidya Balan was last seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’.
