Anil Kapoor to hoist the Indian Flag at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne
Mr. India will hoist the Indian flag at the iconic Federation Square of Melbourne and commemorate the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne on the 15th of August.
The event will be attended by key heads of state in addition to the members from the media and diaspora. In the Master Stroke section at the event, Anil Kapoor will present his latest film ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and the classic ‘Mr. India’. Speaking about this association, Anil Kapoor said, “It always gives me great joy to represent our industry in various parts of the world and to witness the growth and popularity that it enjoys... and couple it with the honor of representing India on our Independence Day and hoist the tricolor in s foreign land fills me with great pride and delight. I look forward to interacting with our cinema lovers in Melbourne very soon."
Along with Anil Kapoor’s films, the newly restored classics of Satyajit Ray - 'Charulata' and 'Nayak' will also be featured in the section.
