‘Was never supposed to star in ‘Half Girlfriend’ or ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ remake’ – Varun Dhawan
Tinsel town is abuzz with reports of actor Varun Dhawan rejecting two films – Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’ and Dinesh Vijan’s ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ remake, citing date issues.
However, Varun Dhawan has got on to twitter and clearly denied the reports. He tweeted, “I usually would not do this but both Dino and @mohit11481 are close to me so for the record i was never supposed To star in any of these films. I have not been offered #halfgirlfriend and I still want to collaborate with Mohit on something soon.”
He added, “And I hopefully will be doing something with Dino in the future cannot talk about it now.”
Interestingly, even while Varun was busy doing ‘Badlapur’ and ‘ABCD 2’, these reports of him considering doing ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ remake were doing the rounds. Even then the actor had rubbished the reports.
Meanwhile, Varun is currently busy shooting for ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Dhishoom’. He will then begin shoot for ‘Shuddhi’ sometime next year.
